Warranty Administrator
Job Summary
Warranty Claims administrator for Ford and Lincoln manufacturer. Administrative duties at Vauxhall, New Jersey location. Meet Training Certification Guidelines. Process Warranty claims for Ford, Lincoln and some aftermarket vehicle applications.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ford and Lincoln, Administrate warranty claims. Proactive claim involvement from start of claim through claim payment.
- Assist Dealership staff, Be able to check warranty coverage, Manufacturer and Extended Warranty. Be able to look up operation codes and assist Service Writers and Technicians in the proper warranty repair according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Busy dealership, high volume, experience a must. Join a Team of individuals to support warranty administration. Claims creation from start of claim, processing or claim, correction of claims, ability to submit supporting documentation to support claims and balancing warranty schedule with accounting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ford Motor Company, Lincoln Motor company as well as some aftermarket applications related to tire and wheel, extended warranty, all things warranty claims.
- Meeting manufacturer training certification.
- CDK computer DMS system integration. Although this would be a plus, we may consider training here if individual is currently using Reynolds or Dealertrack.
- Of course basic computer shills, Office, Excel, scanning, and general abilities required to meet warranty administration of claims.
